It’s been a heady first year for the Deurty Boys but we are going full throttle heading into the busy season and it’s straight through till June now. No rest for the wicked, or the Deurty. Jeremy and Varg want to thank all our friends, family and customers as yall have supported us from Jackson Square through our current gallery at 901 Chartres across from Harry’s Corner bar. We have much gratitude for all the love yall been and continue givin us. We sincerely hope we are able to give as much back as we have received. Aint no Deurty Boys without yall and your ongoing embracing of not just our art but all art and the cultures that surround it. It takes a certain eye to see it and yall got that.

October is an exciting month for both the Deurty Boys. Not only does it traditionally in New Orleans signify the end of a long, slow, tortuous, hot and humid Summer, it also begins “the season” for artists, vendors, musicians, tours and hospitality workers.

The end of the month is especially significant because a convergence of anniversaries and birthdays occurs. The gallery’s one year anniversary is on Oct. 24. Jeremy and Jessica’s wedding anniversary is on the 25th. Jessica’s birthday is on the 26th and Varg’s is on the 27th. Then there is the Voodoo Music Festival, Halloween, All Saints Day, All Souls Day, a Voodoo Authentica block party, and of course, “Varg Gras.” So yall feel free to come by the gallery and help us celebrate any of these events. We are going to have a party at the gallery on the 22nd, more details later.

Jeremy and Varg also have several unique pieces of art in the works that we will be revealing and showing throughout the month. So yall keep an eye out for those. They gonna be beautiful.

Once again, much love to you all and thank you so very much if you have ever bought a piece, shared a post, or even just complimented us and our work. We couldn’t do it without yall.
